Privacy policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
GlintGG, LLC (“GlintGG”, “we”, “us”) operates the GlintGG mobile application, website, beta program, and related services. This policy explains the data we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Data you provide or create
We collect account information such as email address, display name, handle, authentication identifiers, and optional profile details. We also process the collection, binder, wishlist, watchlist, portfolio, pack-opening, grading-tracker, and preference data you create in the app.
If you use Social, we process posts, replies, reactions, reports, follows, friendships, groups, media uploads, public share links, and your selected visibility settings. Public or shared content may be visible to other users or anyone with the share link, depending on the audience you choose.
Camera, scanner, and grading images
Standard card identification runs on-device. Images captured by the camera for normal scanning are not uploaded for identification.
AI grading is different and is online-only. If you choose to submit a card for AI grading, the front and back images you confirm are uploaded to private GlintGG storage, processed by our backend, and sent through our AI grading provider path so an estimated report can be generated. Grading images are access-controlled to your account and are scheduled for deletion according to our retention process.
Market, affiliate, and subscription data
GlintGG displays estimated prices, portfolio values, expected value, grading premiums, and market signals using third-party marketplace data, scraped listings, catalog metadata, and derived models. We may record wishlist targets, alert state, portfolio snapshots, and outbound marketplace clicks.
Some buy links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you make a purchase after using those links. Subscription purchases are processed by the App Store, Google Play, and our subscription infrastructure; we do not receive your full payment card details.
Diagnostics, analytics, and notifications
We use product analytics, website attribution, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and push notification services to understand app and website usage, improve the product, detect errors, send account or feature notifications, and measure beta reliability. Analytics events are designed to avoid raw freeform personal text such as notes, passwords, search queries, and waitlist email addresses.
Service providers
We use service providers for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, notifications, billing, anti-abuse checks, market-data processing, and AI grading. These include cloud infrastructure, app-store billing platforms, analytics and crash tools, marketplace data sources, and AI model providers. Providers process data for the purposes described in this policy and to operate the services they provide to us.
Children and Social access
GlintGG Social requires users to confirm they are at least 13 years old. We use birth month and year for eligibility and safety gating. Accounts that do not meet the Social age requirement are kept out of Social and public profile features.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See the account deletion page. Some records may be retained temporarily where needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, backups, or audit logs.
Your choices
You can use many scanner and collection features locally without publishing anything. You can control profile visibility, collection sharing, portfolio value sharing, auto-posting, notifications, and whether to submit images for AI grading.
